Last one

This is the last post of Thanksgiving pictures and it was too fun. These boys are especially fun to photograph, I love their personalities and grateful I get to watch them grow up. Let me know what you think. ALS

Number two

This is the second family, the light was perfect and we were lucky to get a few shots with happy faces, taking pictures for kids is so hard sometimes, even when Aunt Amy bribes them with candy, silly jokes and funny faces. So fun. Tell me what you think.

I love this photo, I love the expression on my N's face, the dog is my other sister-in-laws, but he so wanted to be in the picture.

I played with a new techinique on this one, it's got a texture added to it, I'm not sure what I think, what do you think?

Thanksgiving fun

We traveled 15 hours, one way, to visit with my husband's family this thanksgiving and in the midst of eating lots of food and playing wonderful games and having a splendid time talking and of course teasing a little, we found some time to take family pictures. Now I am a biased Aunt and think I have some of the most talented, kind and cute nieces and nephews around, so it was fun to take their pictures. Here are the first of the three families I photographed, Enjoy and tell me what you think :) ALS

Senior Pictures for Rose

I love Rose. It has been so fun to take pictures of her over the last year. Before we moved I told her I would be back and we would do her senior pictures. It was so nice to have her so excited to have me do them. I enjoyed taking her picture and miss living right next door. We decided to head back to the trains. We both liked the usual location and the slightly grundgy surroundings. It made for an adventure, and she was a good sport, smiling through just one more picture.Tell me what you think. ALS

Feast

It feels like feast or famine around here. Halloween was a beautiful time to take pictures in Utah, two of our neighbors set up appointments and we decided to go to the train caboose yard in Salem, Utah. It is a fun location. The old trains are fun and as you will see I love the watch your step signs on the back of the caboose. I always love taking pictures for the K family. They are so cute. I felt bad that M was not happy and wanted to go home, but I did get a few shots of her. Let me know what you think. ALS

More soccer fun

Ok, so these two girls are just cute. All the children were cute, but these sat for a few minutes and I just took some fun pictures after all the formality. I loved their expressions and their eyes. Enjoy

Soccer Photo's

Hi all,
It's been a crazy couple of weeks. I recently took pictures for two of our local youth soccer teams. It was a lot of fun. I put together two different pictures, traditional and nontraditional. Let me know which one you like. I have my preference, but I'll tell you later. Have a great Fall!

I hope they call me on a mission

Our cute neighbors son is getting ready to leave (Wednesday) for the MTC, Missionary Training Center, and as a gift before he leaves I offered to do a family picture, which we did this afternoon. I had my assistant Henry help me and he succeded in making sure everyone was smiling as he told jokes and acted silly, what a crazy kid. Best Wishes Jonathon on your mission. Enjoy the pictures. ALS

More Labor Day fun

While my parents were visiting we had many fun adventures. One was walking to the old train depot, that's when I shot this one, my parents don't always hold hands so this is one I will treasure, the other is of my son holding the garnets we found on our picnic. Hope you enjoy, ALS

Labor Day

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday! We had family in town and decided to explore our new surroundings. We had a picnic with my parents and my brother and his family at Garnet Hill and then went and found actual garnets. It was really cool and we did find some amazing stones, little, but still so fun.
I've shown my Dad a couple of pictures of himself that I really liked and he didn't so I am now is search of the picture that we can both agree on. He jokingly said he wanted something nice for the program at his funeral, my Mom wasn't too happy about that comment. So while they were here I took a few photos. I've been trying to practice all the things I've learned in photoshop and I haven't had time for the extreme skin smoothing technique, so I thought I'd try it on my parents, not nice is it.
I like part of the effect and have another way to do it without blurring too much of the background. So I'll put them up to compare, let me know what you think. Have a great day, ALS

Lil bit

Hi All,

School has started here and I'm trying to keep myself organized and together. My Husband's coworker recently had a baby and she was tiny, 4lbs 13 oz. Healthy, but small. She is such a sweetie it was a joy to take her pictures. I also added the three birth announcements I did for them. Tell me which one you like. Have a great day. ALS

Senior pictures

Our move is done!!!! I'm so excited to finally have internet and though I'm still working through boxes the essentials are put away!! My sweet neice came to help me pack and play with kiddos and generally be my lifesaver, as a thank you we went and did some senior pictures, they turned out so cute. She is darling and loves to play the flute so we tried to include her love for her instrument into the shoot. She's headed to USU and will play in the marching band, congrats!Enjoy, Amy

Our cute neighbors

I have taken pictures for the B's before, we have a great friendship and trade all sorts of goods and services. I take pictures and she made my logo, and this time, she's making me photoshop brushes. Fun huh. Anyway, we went to my favorite orchard and had fun. I really like a mix of the traditional posed pictures and the fun quirky candids. Let me know what you think. Amy
