Studio Scene

My Younger Brother, Steve Thiriot, owns a recording studio in Las Vegas. We recently went for a visit and I took some photos for his advertising. I love taking family pictures because you never know what you're going to get, but being able to set up a shoot and set the lighting etc. was a treat. Here are the photos from our shoot as well as one of the business cards I created for him from the pictures we took. Let me know if you need a demo recorded, Steve is totally the person to do it for you!

More photoshop fun

Photoshop is an incredible tool, the more I learn about it the more I think WOW!! I always laugh when people tell me we can just photoshop something in or out. Most of the time I can, but it takes a lot of time, at least for me who's still learning how to do things the best way. I prefer to get the shot the best I can the first time and then when it's tweaked a little in photoshop it looks even better. Here are a few more that I've been working on.

The Joys of photoshop

So what have I been up to? It seems that I'm hit or miss with this but I'm hoping to get better about posting. The month of March found me tuning up my photoshop skills. If someone tells you they don't post process, which means they don't work the pictures over after they've taken them, they're probably lying. Most photographers post process in some way, color adjustments, exposure adjustments, making eyes sparkle etc. The class was phenominal and I met some awesome photographers that are working here. So the next couple posts will be what I've been practicing, and of course let me know if you want to set up a photoshoot. Love, Amy
